Over 500 Less Privilege Benefit From Citizen For Citizens Foundation’s Annual Feeding Project

In line with his principle and the objective of his foundation to give back to the people, the Founder of Citizen For Citizens (CFCs) Foundation and a Senior Legislative Aide at the National Assembly, Abuja, Mr. Akinyode Soyoye has extended his kind gesture to over 500 less privilege Nigerians to benefit from this year’s feeding project of the foundation.

This year’s edition of the feeding project with theme “Spread Love” was held at four different locations in Oyo State on January 8, 2020

While speaking, the Founder of the Foundation, Mr. Soyoye Akinyode, stated that the feeding project is an aspect of Social Welfare Scheme of the foundation.

He disclosed the idea of the project was conceived in 2017 as a result of the high level of poverty in the society.

According to him, “It’s disheartening to know that so many people in the country find it difficult to afford a meal.

“Therefore, we decided to make it an annual project to give back to the people and spread love with the hope of increasing the capacity yearly.

“Last year we fed less privilege Nigerians in two (2) different locations in Ibadan, Oyo State. This year through the grace of God, we fed them in four (4) different locations.

“The Foundation still has other humanitarian programs which cut across health, economic empowerment for youth and education that will be executed very soon. Our aim is to enhance lives of less privileged Nigerians. Government alone can’t get everything done. The onus also lies on Nigerians to support Governments at different tiers through ideas and initiatives like this,” Mr. Akinyode submitted.

In attendance with other dignitaries is the Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Youth and Sports, Kazeem Bolarinwa.
